This route takes us through olive groves and hill top villages in the north, while further south we head along desert roads where the communities are sparse and nomadic, and the landscape vast and spectacular. If the cycling alone isn't enough to entice you, perhaps the UNESCO site of Petra, a night under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert, or a float in the Dead Sea will tempt you to visit this fascinating country. ACCOMMODATION We spend one night in our private camp in the Wadi Rum desert; we stay in traditional tents divided up with two beds in each section. The facilities at the camp are quite basic with limited running water. You will forget about the lack of creature comforts when sitting outside gazing up at the stars whilst our guides cook a traditional Jordanian meal. 2016 20 Feb 28 Feb 1379 899 05 Mar 13 Mar 1379 899 12 Mar† 20 Mar 1379 899 19 Mar 27 Mar 1599 899 02 Apr 10 Apr 1599 899 30 Apr 08 May 1379 899 07 May 15 May 1379 899 14 May† 22 May 1379 899 P F 04 Jun 12 Jun 1379 899 27 Aug 04 Sep 1459 899 10 Sep† 18 Sep 1379 899 P F 17 Sep 25 Sep 1379 899 01 Oct 09 Oct 1399 899 08 Oct 16 Oct 1399 899 22 Oct 30 Oct 1459 899 05 Nov 13 Nov 1379 899 12 Nov 20 Nov 1379 899 19 Nov 27 Nov 1379 899 03 Dec 11 Dec 1379 899 10 Dec 18 Dec 1369 899 17 Dec 25 Dec 1549 899 24 Dec 01 Jan 1649 899 2017 18 Feb 26 Feb 1529 949 04 Mar 12 Mar 1449 949 25 Mar 02 Apr 1449 949 01 Apr 09 Apr 1699 949 22 Apr† 30 Apr 1449 949 P F 06 May 14 May 1449 949 20 May 28 May 1449 949 27 May 04 Jun 1549 949 03 Jun 11 Jun 1449 949 17 Jun 25 Jun 1449 949 02 Sep 10 Sep 1449 949 23 Sep 01 Oct 1449 949 07 Oct 15 Oct 1479 949 14 Oct 22 Oct 1549 949 28 Oct† 05 Nov 1449 949 P F 04 Nov 12 Nov 1449 949 18 Nov 26 Nov 1449 949 25 Nov 03 Dec 1449 949 09 Dec 17 Dec 1449 949 16 Dec 24 Dec 1599 949 23 Dec 31 Dec 1669 949 Daily Distance (km) 0845 863 9626 or visit www.exodus.co.uk and enter the three letter trip code 2 42 3 45 5 20 6 50 7 25 Dates and prices correct at time of publication (see page 13).
