Operation Jubilee 75th Anniversary Commemorative Tour Operation Jubilee was the Allied attempt in August 1942 to make a major assault on the French coast at Dieppe using American Rangers and British Commandos, and Canadian troops. It ended in disaster with heavy loss, particularly for the Canadians. Join us for the 75th Anniversary commemorations. Aug 19 & 20 During the tour we will attend key events in the Dieppe area for the 75th Anniversary and also visit battlefields sites connected with the battle. These will include where the Commandos and Rangers landed on the flanks of Dieppe, seeing the places they came ashore as well as the bunker sites they attacked.
