Convenient coach joining points For your convenience and comfort we offer more than 500 joining points across England, Scotland and Wales. And to make sure your journey to the interchange is as direct as possible, we guarantee there will be a maximum of five stops to pick up other guests. The five pick up point guarantee starts after your main pick up point, excluding comfort stops, service areas, motorway junction points and trunk road pick up points. stay overnight near dover and park for Free Why not go the night before your tour for a relaxing start? You can park for FREE for up to nine days at the Holiday Inn Ashford North and enjoy an overnight stay with English breakfast from just £38 per person. This offer is subject to availability and based on two sharing a twin/double room on a B&B basis*. We’ll then collect you from the hotel on the day of departure and return you there at the end of your tour. Ask one of our friendly reservations team for more details when you book your tour. door-to-door service On Battlefield Tours of 7 days’ duration or more, you don’t even have to think about getting to your local joining point. If you live within 20 miles of one of our free joining points we’ll pick you up from your home and take you to meet your transfer vehicle, then return you back home at the end of your tour. The cost is just £30 per booking each way for up to four people per booking. If you live a little further afield, you can also take advantage of this convenient option for an additional charge – please enquire at the time of booking. transfer service Our transfer service takes you to meet your Luxuria, Silver Service or Executive tour coach, where your holiday can really begin. We also operate our transfer service to return you to your drop off point, in the same, efficient manner, once your tour has finished. The transport we provide to take you to and from the interchange may include Executive, Silver Service or Luxuria coaches, as well as minibus, National Express, Megabus, or, where circumstances require, taxi or train. Occasionally, on shorter journeys, your transfer vehicle may not have toilets, reclining seats or drinks facilities. Our transfer service may be operated by one driver only and is designed to get you to and from your meeting and drop off point as efficiently as possible. At the interchange At the interchange, our trained team takes your luggage from the transfer vehicle to the main tour coach whilst you use the refreshment areas. Then you board your tour coach and travel to Dover or Folkestone, where your coach drives onto the ferry or Eurotunnel train respectively†. Join your tour coach at the interchange On most holidays if you’d prefer to join your tour coach at Stop 24 services, you can park your car in the car park which is accredited by the Park Mark safer parking scheme and is monitored 24 hours a day by CCTV. Payment for the parking is made on arrival using the self-service machines. Comfortable coach travel We want to make sure your journey is as comfortable as possible, and all our tour coaches are equipped with airconditioning, on-board toilet and reclining seats. Seats are allocated on your main tour coach, and for a small supplement, you can guarantee front or second row seats on your tour coach or, if you prefer to sit a bit further back, choose our central view seats (subject to availability, please call or see our website for full details). For extra luxury and extra legroom you can upgrade to Silver Service which also features added benefits such as comfortable rear lounge and porterage at your hotels, or Luxuria which offers even more personal space and at-seat interactive touch screen televisions. See page 5 for full details Crossing the Channel For most continental holidays we use the short sea crossings from Dover to Calais or Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais. Our reservations staff can advise you which route applies for your preferred travel date‡. Booking Conditions information Please read before booking. The following information highlights and provides a summary of some of the more important terms and conditions which apply to your booking. These are NOT our full booking conditions. All bookings are subject to our full Booking Conditions and our Things You Need to Know section which appear on our website www.leger.co.uk. A copy of these can also be e-mailed or posted to you on request. By asking us to make your booking, you confirm you have had access and agree to the full Booking Conditions and Things You Need to Know which you should read. For all holidays which do not include any flights, your contract will be with Leger Holidays Limited which is a member of ABTA (V3582). For all holidays which include flights, your contract will be with Leger Air Holidays Limited which holds (ATOL No. 3880). A contract comes into existence when we or your travel agent verbally confirm your booking or, if booking online, an electronic confirmation and invoice is issued at the end of the booking process. Our full Booking Conditions provide for the payment of cancellation charges if you cancel or fail to make payment when due. They also include limitations and exclusions of our liability to you. For travel arrangements provided by any air, sea, inland waterway or rail carrier forming part of your holiday to which any international convention or EU regulation applies, our liability will be limited as if we were the carrier in question entitled to rely on the applicable convention or regulation (for example, the Montreal Convention, EC Regulation 889/2002 on Air Carrier Liability, EC Regulation 392/2009 on the liability of carriers by sea and the Convention on Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims as amended by the 1996 Protocol for carriage on inland waterways). Prices are correct at the time of going to print but may increase or decrease at a later date. Holidays are guaranteed not to incur currency surcharges so we won’t change the price of your holiday after you have booked due to currency fluctuations. Please note that if applicable, the ‘from’ price shown for each holiday incorporates the early booking special offer shown. All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays in this brochure are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay, you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our full Booking Conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate Holidays which do not include flights arranged by us are bonded with ABTA. This means all monies you have paid to us for an advance booking will be refunded or if your holiday includes return travel to the UK and is already underway, you will be returned to the UK in the unlikely event of our being unable to provide your holiday due to our insolvency. ABTA and ABTA members help holidaymakers to get the most from their travel and assist them when things do not go according to plan. We are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA’s Code of Conduct. This usually takes approximately 3 to 6 weeks to obtain but can take longer. If you are 16 or over and haven’t held a passport previously, you need to allow at least 6 weeks and should not book your holiday until you have received your passport. Current visa and compulsory health requirements (if any) for British citizens with a British passport are shown on our websites. Requirements may change. In the event of any flight delay or cancellation at your UK or overseas point of departure, the airline is responsible for providing such assistance as is legally required by EC Regulation 261/2004, where applicable. The ferry, tunnel, cruise or rail operator is similarly responsible in relation to any delayed or cancelled sea crossing or international rail departure. For other delays, please see our Booking Conditions for details of the extra services we aim to provide subject to availability and the prevailing circumstances. Our holidays may be subject to a minimum number of bookings in order to operate. For all holidays, the deadline for deciding if sufficient passengers have booked to travel for the tour to operate, is the date by which full payment of the holiday must be made.
