B,D Day 3 Goslar & Harz Mountains Today, why not join a visit to the picturesque Harz Mountains, first visiting the former Imperial city of Goslar, with its romantic old town and fortress. Then enjoy a scenic drive visiting the delightful town of Wernigerode. B,D Day 4 Celle We leave Hannover and visit the pretty town of Celle, home to over 400 half-timberframed buildings, then continue to Berlin for a two-night stay. B,D Day 7 Greifswald This morning we offer a walking tour of Stralsund. We then cruise along the Baltic coast, stopping in Greifswald Wieck, outside the old Hanseatic Town of Greifswald. B,L,D Day 8 Peene River Delta to Stettin LagoonWe spend a full day cruising along the tranquil waters of the Peene River and across the Stettin Lagoon to Stettin, Poland, a lively city with fine architecture, which we give you the option to explore. B,L,D Day 9 Stettin to Wolin to Karnin This morning we sail towards Wolin, Poland’s largest island, and stop at the sea port of Swinoujscie. This evening we berth at the German town of Karnin on the banks of the Peene River. B,L,D Day 10 Isle of Usedom The Isle of Usedom is our destination today, one of Germany’s most popular holiday resorts due to its stunning natural beauty. Our superb excursion RAIL JOURNEYS takes you on a scenic drive through the hills to visit Ahlbeck, a popular seaside town. We sail to Peenemünde, a small village on the Isle of Usedom for an overnight stop. B,L,D Day 11 Island of Rügen This morning we cruise to Lauterbach on the Isle of Rügen. Our fantastic ‘Rushing Roland’ excursion takes you on a journey by steam railway, from Putbus to Binz. Cruise from Lauterbach to Vitte on the idyllic island of Hiddensee. B,L,D Day 12 Islands of Hiddensee Hiddensee, often referred to as the ‘jewel of the Baltic’, is a car-free island. Therefore our relaxing excursion takes you by horse-drawn carriage to see the beautiful landscape. Our cruise returns to Stralsund on the mainland of Germany.
